As part of a seminar-journalism class at MSU, I worked with a team to perform cross-cultural interviews, to which I helped write and edit content in order to create a 100-question guide to increase the understanding of Hispanics/Latinos and to rid all stereotypes. I am a contributing author of the book "100 Questions & Answers About Hispanics and Latinos." The book is available for purchase on Amazon.

​In one particular journalism class at Michigan State University, I was able to become knowledgable with the Old Town Lansing area, finding out facts such as the history, dynamics, and atmosphere. I reported on many issues such as the history of retail shops, town hall meetings, and the various restaurants in the area.

During my internship at WDIV-TV in Detroit, I was able to go to federal court several times and blog what was going on during the Detroit Bankruptcy Trial. I also covered elements during a trial for doctor by the name of Dr. Fata during a federal lawsuit. I was given the opportunity to go inside the court room during the Chapter 9 bankruptcy hearing and log what was going on, alongside Local 4 Reporter, Roger Weber. This was published on the Click on Detroit website. I also went out with photographers to cover different stories going on within the community.

In a particular news journalism class at Michigan State University, I was able to become part of the writing and design of a magazine app to be available for free purchase on iTunes. Being part of the staff, I was able to publish a story on Entertainment news and Hard news and how individuals at a wide range of ages choose to keep up with and stay informed of one type of news rather than the other. I wrote and designed all of my own content.
